Agreement & Services
By booking a service with The Cleaning Giants, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. The Cleaning Giants is a booking platform that provides professional cleaning services through a network of independent contractors.
Access and untilities
- The customer must provide access to the property at the scheduled time.
- The customer must ensure running water and electricity are available. If our cleaners arrive and utilities are disconnected, the service will be cancelled, and a $70 non-refundable call-out fee will apply.
- If free parking is not available within a reasonable distance, the cost of paid parking will be covered by the customer.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
- A cancellation fee of $50 will be charged if given less than 24 hours notice from the time of booking.
- No fee applies if notice is more than 24 hours from the time of booking.
- If cleaners are turned away at the door or cannot gain entry, the full booking fee may be charged.
Health & safety
- In accordance to OHS, cleaners will not move heavy furniture, handle biohazards including mould, animal or human waste, or bodily fluids.
- We hold the right to refuse service if the environment is deemed unsafe, aggressive animals are present and if structural safety risks are present.
Damage & Liability
- The Cleaning Giants and its subcontractors are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing wear and tear (e.g., weak seals, brittle and weak surfaces), faulty installation of mountings or fixtures (e.g., loose towel rails), or normal deterioration of surfaces from age or weather (e.g., old grout crumbling during a scrub).
- Any claim for damage must be submitted in writing with photos within 48 hours of the service.
- Minor accidental breakages may occur in during the clean. In which case, we will assess all breakage claims fairly and transparently.
Non-solicitation of staff
- By booking a service you agree to not privately solicit, entice or engage with the intention of hiring any current or former The Cleaning Giants service provider without written consent from The Cleaning Giants.
End of lease bond back guarantee
- Our Bond Back Guarantee is valid only if the property is completely empty of furniture and residents.
- If your property manager identifies any cleaning-related issues, we must be notified within 72 hours of the clean. We will return to fix them free of charge.
- We do not guarantee the removal of permanent stains, deep grout discolouration, or damage caused by wear and tear.
Payment
A “pre-authorisation hold” will be placed on the customer’s credit card 24 hours prior to the service to ensure funds are available. Payment will be charged upon completion of the booking.
